Eco-City Academy invites Alexandria residents to join its six-week sustainability program

Applications are now open for the Eco-City Academy in Alexandria, offering residents a chance to learn about environmental sustainability and become community leaders. This six-week program educates participants on the city's environmental policies and teaches them how to lead sustainability efforts in their neighborhoods.

The program is open to Alexandria residents aged 17 and older who have a passion for sustainability. Interested individuals can apply online by November 8th, with limited spaces available. The program starts on January 9th, 2025, and will be held every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm until February 13th, 2025.

"Dinner will be provided," and sessions will take place in person in English. For more information or inquiries, potential applicants can visit the city’s website or contact Eco-CityAlexandria@alexandriava.gov.
